Couple questions on this program. After installing where do you go to get the comics and what kind of charges are there for them.

ComicZeal reads comics in cbr, cbz, rar, and pdf formats.

Best way to obtain comics in these formats is to do a Google search for "cbr comic downloads" or "free comic downloads." You'll get a nice list of (mostly) torrent sites where you can download comics.

Once you get them, you can use iTunes File Sharing or Dropbox to actually load the files into ComicZeal.
