Cold fingers..

Seems when my fingers get cold it's harder to work I'm iPad lol.... The 5 finger sweep is almost impossible...

Never noticed that. Even with mild frostbite my gestures still work.

Try closing apps with really long nails...keep switching apps instead!

Try using a stylus especially if this is a recurring problem.

A stylus is a possibility, as James mentions. There also are conductive gloves like these that might help:

I have these full finger gloves that let you work a screen while wearing. Problem is, they are so light weight as to provide little to no protection from the cold. Maybe there are others that are heavier.

Didn't even notice that link....but they look just like the ones I have. Ah...they have them on Amazon....I can see they are a bit different. I guess I will try a pair.... I don't need much, as I tend to gen a lot of heat anyhow. Thanks for the mention.
