Closing windows

Hi
I am not able to close windows in Safari. The Ipad 2 instructions say to click on the X in the left corner of the page but that does not work. Please help

Try closing and then reopening the Safari app. Double click the home button, hold on an app on the bottom row 'till they wiggle and click the 'x' on the Safari app to close it. That usually helps when an app works strangely.
