Fosfor features an amazing video today of Majic Jungle’s side-scrolling sequel helicopter game, Chopper 2, playing on an iPad that has been hooked up to a 42-inch LCD TV, with an iPhone controlling the helicopter via Bluetooth. At the time that the video was shot, it was just a proof of concept, but now the game has been out a month or so and the remote control system apparently works a treat. An updated version of the game has just been released to the app store, supporting TV Out from your iPhone 4, as well as the ability to control your iPhone 4 remotely from another iPhone or iPod touch. The update also enables Wi-Fi based remote control, meaning that 1st generation devices can control the chopper remotely over an iPad or iPhone 4, as well as simplifying the remote-control set up procedure and improving the TV Out experience.
Chopper 2 features 36 missions spread over 12 unique locations, and you can download it from the app store here, for just $2.99/Ă‚ÂŁ1.79. Looks like a bargain, reminiscent of the likes of Jungle Strike - a great sequel to a classic iPhone game.
