When I charge my iPad with the cords, the little whie box between the two cords becomes so hot it will burn me. Does this happen to anyone else? Should I be worried? Is this normal?

What charger are you using? If its the apple one sounds like you should get it replaced.

It is absolutely NOT normal! I let my iPad drain completely today and it has been on the charger for several hours now and the charger is only slightly above room temperature.

Mine gets hot, but not to the point that it will burn skin. When you say "it will burn me" are you just saying it's hot, or will it actually BURN your finger?

It won't make a blister, but it definitely is painful. I'll just try to get a replacement.
