Change auto-shut off setting?

How do I change the setting that automatically turns off my ipad screen after several minutes of non-use?

Go to the General tab of your Settings app. Look down the right hand side until you see the line titled "Auto-Lock." Pressing that line will take you to a new tab where you can elect to set the time before the screen shuts off to 2, 5, 10 and 15 minutes - or Never.
