That is totally illegal in Australia and one would get a $300 fine if pulled over.
Tote that around in your car in Calif, better have Mr. Smith & Mr. Wesson sitting next to you.
I use the gps on my iPhone and that won't change. I always carry it so no need for 2 devices for that.
The WiFi iPads don't have a GPS. It is only available on the 3G version. One of the reasons I am going with the 3G (the other reason must be that I love to suffer )
I think the GPS is half the reason why I wanted the 3G model.
I really like the one that connects to the seat base of the passenger seat. Makes for great transferability between family vehicles!
Kids video mount?
I was thinking about getting a mount like this because it would be a better picture for my daughter in the car but I wouldn't want to mount it to the chair because that seems like it would take too much time when I need to get out of the car and use my iPad. The mount would take care of my worries about her dropping or throwing it if she was holding in her lap. Any suggestions?
Have you had a look at the Vogels car mount for a seat-back option for the kids?
iPad Backseat Headrest Mount
If you're looking for a good backseat headrest mount for the iPad or iPad 2, the company I work for makes one called CoulVue. It mounts on an extendable arm for maximum flexibility.
Check out TouCoul dot com or just search CoulVue.
