I bought my wife an iPad and she has purchased music via iTunes using her account. We want to transfer this to our home PC to sync to our iPod Nano. The PC is authorised for both her and my account but when I connect the iPad I cannot find the option to transfer the music to the PC. Any help would be most appreciated

You can try connecting your ipad to iTunes? Maybe that'll help! :)

ITunes will autoatmically download any music you buy in the Itunes to your PC (assuming you are logged in under the right account). There is no need to transfer music bought on an iPad from iTunes back to the PC. ON a Windows PC just go into Edit | Preferences | Store and check Music, Apps, and Books. Also tell it to automatically check for available downloads and pre-orders.

Maybe you need to read the manual from Apple
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer

But If you have some problems in using iTunes,
you can also check the guide below

Open iTunes store on your Mac, click on "Purchased" and all your music bought from iTunes should be there, no iPad required.

Back up your iPad using iTunes, then extract the music from the backup. If you don't have a backup, then you should probably look for an alternatives. With newly designed PhoneTrans Pro, you are now capable of transferring everything from your iPad to a PC or Mac. It also brings you a shortcut to keep everything safe and duplicable. It will help you easily copy music or game progress to new iPhone and iPad or even backup them to iTunes library on a Windows or Mac computer.

Here is a demonstration: How to Transfer Music from iPhone to Mac

It also works for iPad and iPod on Windows and Mac OS X
