Unable to save images from Flickr on my Ipad; I can save the same images on my pc. Is there a setting I need to change?

Is Flickr allowed to access your photos? (Settings - Privacy - Photos)

It doesn't appear that privacy setting are causing it. It won't save photos that are public while I can save them on my Windows laptop..

You can’t save someone else’s images from Flickr in the app on your iPad, if that’s what you’re trying to do. Just your own.

Are you using the app or the website?

In all likelyhood your laptop’s browser is ignoring the privacy settings on the website.

Or some other reason. Not enough info to be sure.

The difference is the app, images will save using the website. I was after some steam locomotive shots from the first railroad I worked on. Thanks

No problem. Since Flickr has complete control of the app, they can make sure whatever download settings the owner sets are enforced. Web browsers, not so much.

If you think it is a mistake, try contacting the owners of the photos.

And that brings us to the limit of what can be discussed on this forum. Discussions of software piracy, ways to bypass copyright, and other illegal or questionable actilvitys are prohibited here.

I’m not accusing you, or anyone. Just letting you know we are approaching moderated ground.
