Can't Clear an Email Message

I can't clear an email message. No matter what I do, it is still there. Any suggestions on how to clear it or reset the email function?

As you haven't said what you have done already I assume you've tried swiping it to bring up the delete option and also have tried to just press the Edit tab up the top in the left column and then chosen the email to delete and then have pressed the delete button? Btw this is done in landscape mode. When an app behaves strangely it is best to close it completely and then relaunch it. From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. See if it is working now and let us know.

I'm not sure what you mean by "clear an email message." Can you be more specific? Which type of email (yahoo, .mac, gmail etc.)? Move to trash? Or does iPad get stuck and not let you send/save to drafts?

If it's the latter, I've had that happen on my original iPad. Tap the home button twice to bring up current apps. Go to a different app, tap twice again. Touch mail app and hold until it starts wiggling, then quit mail. Reopen it and you should see the email and be able to delete, send, or whatever. I may have to do this more than once but usually it works for me.
