Cannot see Apps in App Store?

Can anyone help please. Just got an older Ipad 1 for my daughter. Have reset the Ipad okay. Then tried to view some apps she wanted, but they do not seem visible in the App Store, it searches okay but then cannot see any apps, same in ITunes. I set up a new Apple ID too. Anyone any ideas? Thanks

Did you do factory reset?

Yes I did the full factory reset. It was after that that I had this problem.
