Hi, I've found a ton of answers on similar subjects, but they just don't seem to answer my question.

I purchased a TV show on my ipad 2, now I want to sync the iPad to my MacBook Pro, but I DO NOT want to sync the video FROM the iPad to the MacBook. In other words, I don't want the TV show on both devices, JUST on the iPad. Any sugestions?

Also, does anyone know if I can stop iTunes from trying to download the TV program from iTunes? Every time I open iTunes on the Mac it wants to download the videos. Again I don't want them on the computer.

Thanks in advance for your interest, and help.

Charlie

When you hook up to itunes it will ask would you like to sync the movies from your ipad to your mac.....just click no. If you dont sync to itunes, then it will have no links on the mac....this should stop it downloading from itunes.
If i'm wrong i'm sure someone will be along shortly, but i'm fairly sure it will work the same as Windows version of itunes.

Let us know how you get on Charlie

Thanks Rambler, everything is so automatic these days, I would be nice if there were a way to keep some of our technology separate from each other.
Along with the iPad wanting to sync with the Mac, iTunes on the Mac wants to download the video. I spent hours last night waiting for it to download the program so I could continue on with sync-ing the iPad. Then, it wasn't even uploading the new music I wanted even though the songs were checked in iTunes on the MacBook....If storage space weren’t to critical I'd just let the both of them have their way with each other, but I need the drive space on the Mac for other projects.
These things are “wonderus†for sure. It endless the uses you can find for them.
Thanks for the insight.
