can i stop ios 7 download ? please help

friend pressed update to ios 7 on my ipad 2 (running ios 5.1.1) it's on pause now but is there a way to actually stop abort download ? i DON'T want ios 7 and ipad got laggy with update pasue in background

ipad is working really fast on ios 5.1.1 don't want to loose that plz help any options ?

it's not jailbroken unfortunately :/

It would be difficult to do. I would try using a backup extractor like iBackupBot and remove the cached download file, then restore the backup, which essentially, no longer has the downloaded file. Or you can simply backup and restore with iTunes as the OTA download is not backed up.

i can do backup but won't restore from backup require me to download new ios ( itunes)
