Is there a way to color code emails (not the calendar) from my iPad?
Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
I don't think there is a way, using the iPad's native 'Mail' app, to colour code emails. Even if you cut-and-paste coloured text from another app - say, Apple's 'Pages' (where you can colour the text), it is 'pasted' in black into 'Mail'. Maybe there are some third-party mail apps that can do this (I say this because you mention the iPad's 'Calendar' app, for which there is a workaround if you need it, but I'm not familiar with a similar one for the iPad 'Mail' app.
Maybe someone out there in 'iPad Forum World' has a great workaround for this too, it would be good to hear. I was initially frustrated by my inability to create folders in 'Mail', because I was used to doing this on my PC using Windows Mail. Again, here, there's a 'workaround' that lets you have folders (though not create them) in Mail by using IMAP instead of the POP mail protocol. So perhaps someone has a similar fix.....
Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
Have fun and enjoy your iPad
