Can somebody please explain to me why it's taking my ipad2 forever to download apps. This started to happen after it displayed error 1004. Its no longer displaying error 1004 but it's taking over 1 hour to download an app. Why? Arhhhgg,!!!!

What is the size of the app? Some of those game apps are truly gigantic...

I use a simple app called Sys Activity. This app will tell you what apps are running and will allow you to clear your memory with a click of a button. It will we move apps that are not needed and poof your downloads will speed up. Good luck
