Calendar coordination

My wife and I have separate gmail accts and separate iPads. Is there a way to coordinate Calendars and photos?? Thanks

Google lets you share calendars with other users.

Here's the first part.

Since you and your wife probably don't want to share every calendar, one of you creates a calendar specifically for events you want to share, then share it with the other person as an editable calendar.

Or, you could share one of your primary calendars as editable.

Or you could each share your primary calendar with each other as a read only calendar; so you could look at each other's appointments, but not edit them.

All of this would be easiest to do in Google's web interface.


After you've shared the calendars you will want to be able to access them from iOS. If you use the native Calendar app, here is what you do:

First choice "Sync your Google Account with your iPhone or iPad"

You've probably already done most of this, but It is the last part, where you set up syncing for more than one calendar that is important. This is how you get the shared calendar(s) you've set up to show up in the Calendars app.

Or, you could use a third party calendar app that syncs directly with your Google account.
