I am looking for an app to help run my business easier than the multiple apps I am using now.

The kind of app I am looking for is a mix between the original calendar and notes app that come with the iPad. I own and operate a plumbing and appliance repair business where I organize several service trucks. My ideal app would have a notes section pretty much like the original notes app and a calendar section with multiple calendars in it so I can copy and paste notes to different employee calendars. I don't know if anything like this already exists or not. I know that both my business and my Dads (oilfield roustabout company) would both use an app like this EVERYDAY!

I have downloaded many calendar and note apps, but I haven't found any that are quite as good as the originals.

Thank you for your time,
TOOLMAN

Hi there and welcome.

I use SmartPad which has a calendar(s), to do and a notes section with links.....I'm not entirely sure that this is what you are looking for but it may well be. You can check out the features on their website here http://www.leftcoastlogic.com/blog/smartapps/smartpad/smartpad-2-1-guide/

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.......and please don't forget to read the rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/

Finally, if you still haven't had enough, how about a video explaining about our other forums (note:you may want to play this at half speed but hey, why shouldn't Phil be excited about our forums!)

You might try VIPorbit, a mobile relationship manager that is built around "Orbits" - each of your people could be an Orbit with customers associated with them. It presently is an iPhone app that also can run on the iPad, and a true iPad version is coming out in 2 months. If you've ever heard of ACT! it is designed by the Co-Inventor of ACT!, the product that created the entire Contact Management category.
