And you are holding the two buttons down together for a few seconds, and no Apple logo appears?

yes i am holding down the 2 buttons the apple logo appears i hold on for 60 seconds and nothing. i then press the on, off, and its back to recovery

So it does appear? Then what do you do? It should reboot. But you are saying that it goes right back to recovery mode? IF you are seeing the Apple logo, just don't do anything. Don't touch it.

Let it do its thing. And you have registered and set up your iPad with iTunes, right?

hi tim im not having any luck getting it out of recovery mode i have tried rebooting

no, it was during set up with itunes, itunes asked me to update to the latest version from then its been in recovery
