Am considering buying a fitness watch (iHealth) which can connect to a special app. The mamufacturer's web site indicates that it would need bluetooth version 4. Is this version (or a higher version) on the iPad 2 running iOS 7.04? I can't seem to find iny mention anywhrre. Obviously I don't want to spend money if it won't connect to the app.

Everything I read says that Bluetooth 4 did not come on the iPad until the third generation. So, I'm afraid your iPad 2 does not have it. Sorry.
