Bluetooth Blues

Both my iPad2 and iPhone 4S see and connect with other devices but do not with each other..both are running ios7.0.4. i.e. Neither shows up on the others Settings/Bluetooth/Devices, nor will they connect with each other ??

Hi Robok - BT (Bluetooth) on the iPad is used mainly to connect to specific wireless devices, such as keyboards, headphones, or external speakers - I've used the technology on my iPod & iPad for those purposes - it is not meant (at the moment at least) for connecting your phone to your iPad for transference of files (of whatever type) - let us know what your need to do for more specific advice?
