Hello Y'all,
I have an iPad 3 and I just updated to ios7. I can't really pinpoint when but every now and then I get a blue bar that scrolls from one side of the screen to the other. It is either the full length or width depending on which way I am holding the pad. Can any of you tell me how to get rid of it or tell me what is causing it? Thanks, Tony

This blue band doesn't rotate when you turn the iPad, correct? If that's the case you may have a hardware problem. You may want to consider having it checked out at the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple store. If there is a hardware fault and your iPad is still under warranty or you have AppleCare+, it will be repaired or replaced. Make sure to back up your iPad before you take it in. A replacement can be set up using this backup.

Scifan,
It only started doing this when I updated to 7. I forgot to backup the pad before i updated it. Do you think it is hardware if it didn't happen in 6? Thanks, Tony

Whatever the cause, it is certainly not normal behaviour no matter what iOS you are on. It's still worth checking out.

Good job getting the screenshot. Now you have some evidence to show if you decide to have your iPad checked out at the Genius Bar.
