Blood Bowl fans, you can now play the game on your iPad! Yes, it’s finally happened, with Focus Home Interactive announcing that Cyanide Studios’ adaptation of Games Workshop’s fantasy football board game inspired by the Warhammer universe is out now for iPad.
If you’re already playing the game on PC, then rest assured that you can connect with your account and play with your PC teams whose races match those in the iPad version (i.e., Humans and Orcs for the base game, and Dwarfs, Skaven, Wood Elves, and Chaos for additional races).
The game is also cross-platform compatible, so you can play on your iPad and compete with players on PC, and vice versa.
And if you’re new to the game, well gameplay is pretty simple, you just have to choose players for your team from six races in the Warhammer universe, each of which has its own strengths, weaknesses, which can also be developed as you progress.
For single players, there’s Solo Player mode and Campaign mode, with the former consisting of fun, fast games, and the latter seeing your team and players progress by winning matches.
Multiplayer mode lets you compete against a friend in Hotseat mode, or you can also play in a huge online permanent league, where you can create and develop your own teams.
