I am tired and I need to go to bed. I tried to post here just now but stuffed it up!:(

I found this forum by accident and thought "I could use that." All information indicated it was easy to use so..... then I tried to register. It took about 20 minutes to get that right. I kept trying to login but it kept telling me I had it wrong but I knew I didn't. Finally got it right.

Then posted here but tried 'preview' and then lost the post so had to start again. Really I am not happy so far. Maybe tomorrow things will be better and I can find answers to any questions I might have.

It is the app I am working from. I do like my iPad and have had it for a couple of months now. Until I got it I have been a Microsoft user so yes it is a big learning curve for me. I am still learning things every day. I have now learnt how to cut and paste, which is something that has been frustrating me. My son does not understand how I can have almost eliminated my need to use the computer, but I find that almost everything I want to do can be done on the iPad. I have even discovered my favorite game on Facebook that I couldn't play (due to it being a flash game) on the iPad now has an app. So that has made me happy this week.

Thanks for your help and thoughts thus far. Oh yes another reason that I may be frustrated is that I am getting older (now in my 50's, so take it easy on me) :)

Well, that's just great, see how much difference a day can make! We have a poll here which shows that the greater proportion of members are in the older category, so you are in good company here. Enjoy!

That would be right, it's the older ones that need help with technology. The younger generation can just use it all instinctively. I work in a high school so I have to keep up with them so how.

Now to go search the forums.
