i have black line on my ipad
If I apply pressure near the home button it’s disappear
But it is coming back after a while
What is the problem and what can I do?

Does the line stay in place when you rotate from portrait to landscape mode? That could mean that you have a failed line of pixels on your screen.

It may cause a temporary connection when you press on the screen.

Could be a damaged trace on the PCB, or a loose wire, or something of that sort, and the pressure you are applying allows the connection that powers that line of pixels.

It could mean a faulty screen connection to the logic board.

It would need a Genius Bar diagnosis to determine that. The connector is an integral part of the screen assembly and can't be replaced separately.

Or the logic board, which is pretty far back in the package. In any case whoever does the repair will have to remove the screen to get in there.

Is the iPad still under warranty, or Apple care+ ? That may affect the cost considerably.

If the iPad is out of warranty and has expired AppleCare+, the repair cost could be about half the cost of a new iPad of the same model.
