EA’s best-selling iPhone action-FPS Battlefield: Bad Company 2 now has an iPad version in the App Store. Based on the console game from DICE, BBC2 delivers the adrenaline-pumping intensity of close-quarter combat and the detached precision of aerial combat, as you engage the enemy in jungle heat, arctic snow, and desert dust. The iPad’s larger screen and HD graphics mean that the experience is even more visceral than before, with a much wider and more detailed view of the battlefield. And if you’re lucky enough to have an iPad 2, you’ll appreciate an even faster and more graphically intense thrill ride.

The game has 14 single-player missions across 5 battle zones. At your finger tips you have access to 14 different weapons, from a basic knife to rocket-propelled grenades. And when you get tired of all that on-foot, up-close-and-personal combat action, you can get behind the controls of tanks, choppers and much more in state-of-the-art vehicular combat.

Players can tailor the control set up to best suit their particular playing style, with three different control systems to choose from: gesture controls with no on-screen buttons, a virtual fire button, or both fire button and analog stick.

The comprehensive multiplayer mode enables you to initiate combat with up to 10 friends across dedicated maps. Match types include Free for Alls and Squad Deathmatches.

All in all, a very slick modern combat game for your iPad. Click here to download the game for $9.99: BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY
