This will be my first ipad but when i first recieve it do i need to drain the battery and charge it to full? Or turn it on and charge it to full? Tried looking it up but did not see anything regarding this.

or can i just open it up and use it?

It should come about 80 percent charged, allowing you to use it right off.

but should i bother to use it and drain the battery fully then charge it to full? Or just use it like any normal device?

Because theres that battery myth about batteries and i'm not sure whether or not it applies to apple ones...

I'm an android user, so over at that forum i get mixed reviews of some saying to "drain fully and charge fully" and some say "with the advancements of batteries theres no need to do it anymore, its actually better to keep it charged full"

Now how does this apply to apple products?
