Warner Bros. Interactive continues to update and support its excellent Batman: Arkham City Lockdown app, with the latest update bringing in Retina display optimization for the new iPad, complete with improved graphics resolution of 2048 x 1536, as well as enhanced visual effects and details, and updated user interface elements and hi-res wallpapers. Fans will also be excited to hear that the update also marks the introduction of two new enemies, Poison Ivy and Robin, in an all-new level, as well as the addition of four brand new Boss missions. Also available in the bumper update are three different DC Comics to read in the Comixology Viewer, and the opportunity to purchase the Batman Year One skin in-app.

The new level introduces a new gameplay style to the app with players taking cover as Poison Ivy takes control of the Gotham City police force, turning them into her unwilling henchmen. Fans will get to see Batman facing off against a new opponent - Robin!
