Bang & Olufsen is famous for its state of the art audio equipment that often functions just as much as a piece of modern hi-tech art as it does a music player. Now, ZDNet’s The ToyBox blog reports, the company has launched a bespoke 8-speaker dock for the iPad, iPhone and iPod that, certainly in terms of looks, will be as much of a talking point when you have guests round as your trusty iPad. Combine the two and it's even better! Called the BeoSound 8, the speaker system comes in either black or white, and will be available sometime this November. And if you don’t have any of the aforementioned iOS devices, you can also hook it the BeoSound 8 to your Mac or PC. According to Bang & Olufsen, the BeoSound 8 is actually extremely portable as well, despite its space-age looks, and can also be mounted on a wall bracket or any flat surface without compromising the sound quality.

No word on pricing as yet, but you know it’s not going to be cheap!

$1000 bucks for Mickey mouse ears! :)

I would rather have the Philips Fidelio and have money left over.
