Does a backup of an iPad in iTunes backup the media that was stored on the iPad?
I created some videos with my iPad but they seem gone after I jailbroke my iPad, after restoring from a backup.

If a backup contains videos and photos, is there a way to extract these from the backup on the computer itself?

Now, I couldn't tell you if a backup contains videos or photos. But, you could try getting the program "iBackupBot for iTunes." With it, you can "dig in" to the iTunes backup file.

So, try it? No guarantees - but it's the only way I know of to look inside an iTunes backup.
