Backup problem.

Since downloading iOS7 to my IPad the automatic backup to iCloud no longer works. It does backup manually. Can anyone help,please.

If you have iCloud backup turned on, it should automatically back up when the iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to WiFi. Is this not happening with your iPad?

No. I have it set up to do it automatically. It did it before new download.

Try a reset of your iPad......it's a good step to do after any update to your iPad.
Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you may see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.

Try turning iCloud Backup off, wait a while, then turn it on again. Maybe even restart the iPad before you turn it back on. You'll have to wait until the next morning (assuming all the conditions SciFan listed are met) to see if it worked. Good luck.

Than you will try switching off suggestion and if that doesn't work will Try reset.

Will let you know how I get on.
