Automatic date and time changing when travelling

Hi
Can anyone make any suggestions. When I travel my iPhone 4S automatically resets the time but my IPad 3 does not. I have the "Set automatically" button turned on on the IPad but the Time Zone area below it continues buffering. I can make a change manually but am wondering why this won't happen automatically. To make this happen automatically, you have to enable Location Services in Settings - Privacy, as is visible below the Time Zone:




However, leaving Location Services turned on will drain the battery more quickly. That's what you should be aware of when you use this feature.

If the iPad is wi-fi only or you don't have a local SIM so that the iPad has a cellular connection, it may not be able to update the time until you have an internet connection.
