Attaching Stylus to iPad

Has anyone figured out a nice neat way to attach a stylus to the iPad so it is always with you?
My stylus has a loop on the end that could be used for something like that if I could figure out what to
use and how to be able to detach it as needed. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have a mini stylus with a plastic "plug" on a cord that fits into the headphone socket. Works for me!!

My stylus had a clip on it (like you'd find on a pen). My cover has a place to insert it and secure it with the clip. My wife's cover is different but she uses the hole for the ear phone/volume control to clip it onto the cover.
