Is it possible to attach a document stored in the Adobe Reader App to an email from within the Mail App? I can send a doc from within Reader and I can attach photos from within Mail, but have been unable to figure out how to attach a doc from within Mail.

Hi, welcome to iPF!

The Mail app itself only allows to attach photos or videos. If you want to sent a document, you'll have to continue doing this through the Adobe Reader app.

The other option is to send the PDF to a cloud storage app like DropBox or Box, then send the share link via email. Many apps have direct support for DropBox and/or Box. With others you can still use the Open In sharing option.

In some ways this is superior to sending the attachment directly. The email gets to the destination faster, and the recipient can decide when and where to download the attachment.
