AT&T iPad 3G and IPV6

According to their press release AT&T is totally embracing IPV6 Day.
Well the AT&T iPad 3G doesn't seem to have the same attitude.
It failed IPV6 via 3G connectivity totally.
Is this an Apple or AT&T issue?

Completely on ATT, they provide the IP address to your iPad. When IPv6 goes live, we will only need a small update to accommodate the extra digits in the new v6 IP sets. I'm sure the way things are going, we will, (or already have), the correct software to work right off the bat.

Keep in mind IPv6 has been floating around for some time and I'm sure ATT is just waiting for these tests underway with google and others to update the infrastructure needed to support the new IP system.
