Associating a device to apple id

Have successfuly connected to icloud and updated my PC and ipad and iphone. However when i look at my itunes account it only recognises my iphone and pc as being associated to my apple id.

Apple help shows me how to remove them, but not how to add them given it has not happened automatically.

The consequence of this is i cannot set my store to automatically download music and apps on my ipad.... Hardly life threatening, but i am wondering what i am doing wrong.....

If you go into 'Setttings', 'Store', you can set up the ID there...

Thanks, but yeah i have done that. I have a valid apple id on my ipad. However on my pc when i enquire on my itunes there is no recognition of tthis device.......so it appears i have done it but the itunes account information does not list it as a device......
