    What is it?

Art ABC is an app for young children which features backgrounds from famous artists such as: Vincent Van Gogh, Degas, Rousseau and Renoir. Each letter of the alphabet is narrated and all of the famous art is animated as well. For example, Apples that fall from trees, lights flash on and off and so on.

    How to use it

It seems as if this app was developed with children in mind. The app is organised in alphabetical order with simple arrows to move forward or backwards. After the app is finished, moms and children can pick any letter they want to go back to without having to start from the beginning.

Art Education and How it works with this app:

As I mentioned above, art from famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Rousseau and others are featured. Their art is displayed in HD - full colour and the kick is, they are all animated. All of the art in this app is representative of famous pieces from the classic periods, styles and artists. In my opinion this app subconsciously educates children through this app by helping them recognize great works from these artists.

    Conclusion:

If you are looking for a free app that provides art appreciation through the alphabet this app could be for you. In addition it's free so it doesn't hurt to try out.
