Is there a way to make the AppStore not go back to release date as the default sorting after looking at an app? It is so annoying to have to choose sort by popular every time i look at an app and return to the list.

Yes, type in whatever topic you are looking for (i.e. iPad games or free iPad games or music apps, etc.) in the search box in iTunes. Click See All on the next page. Then you'll get a listing of multiple pages in that category. Click on an app to explore it and when you want to go back to the previous page click on the back arrow (<) in the first column of the Title row. Click "Next>" on the bottom of the page to advance to the next page of apps. Searching any other way in iTunes is a pain. Hope this helps.
