Apps not opening after accidental disconnect

    Hello JA123 and welcome to the forum. Try a reset (reboot) of your iPad. That has often helped when an iPad seems to "act up".

    Simultaneously hold down the On/Off and Home buttons until the screen blacks out. Keep holding both until the white Apple logo appears and then let both go. Then wait until your wallpaper appears. Restart your iPad.

    Hi and welcome to iPF!

    You could also remove recently used apps from the multitask bar: double tap the home button to reveal it, tap and hold an app until it starts to wiggle, then delete the apps.
