Those that applaud the decision may one day rue the day. Less competition means less innovation and higher prices.

Innovation means not violating someone elses intellectual property.

Took a real genious to think up a rectanglular device with rounded corners.
I totally agree with the suit against Samsung for blatantly stealing the ios icons.

Although I do agree with Apple suing Samsung, I not agree with Apple suing the Chinese company because they have a leaf in their logo. (They're a food company).

It will be interesting to see what the hearing in U.S. courts this October will bring with this type of precedent. I believe that a while back, I read that Samsung was the one that had initiated court proceedings against Apple in the hope that it could win in suits abroad and influence the courts here in the U.S. Things seem to have turned out quite the opposite.

While I don't think that there is anything new about tablets, the German courts seem to have foud too many similarities.

In an interesting twist, German retailers are being allowed to sell the Tab 10.1, restock them as they sell as long as the resupply does not come from the German division of Samsung .
