apple tv capabilities?

I've heard that ITv will have the capability to completly mirror ipad with the release of IOS 5. Can anyone confirm this? Apple store reps told me that it will just show movies , videos and music .

The reports are that it will have mirroring capabilities, and also that it will allow the iPad to work as a game console.
