As an exclusively Android user currently considering moving to,iPad/iOS let me say this...

Flash on mobile devices is DEAD - as it will be within 12/18 months on desktops & laptops.

As of August 15th, Adobe Flash Player was removed from the Google Play Store for new installations. At the present time, under the newest variant of Android, 4.1 Jelly Bean, Flash will only work if it was previously installed or if you sideload it.

Under Jelly Bean, the following mainstream browsers do NOT support Flash...
    Chrome
    Firefox
    Dolphin

The only browser that does currently is Opera Mobile - that will change within the next 2/3 months.

Face it - HTML5 is the future. Flash is dead, dead, dead.

I don't have a philosophical stance on Flash vs. not-Flash. But as long as sites still use Flash and we can't see those sites, Flash isn't dead.

As we have many, many threads concerning Flash - this one is closed. Thanks for your understanding.
