Apple bootlogo

I have an ipad 3 ios 6.1.2, evasi0n jailbreak. Is it at all possible to remove the apple bootlogo image? I would like to use custom bootlogos without the apple logo loading first. Thanks for any help you can give me.

There are several boot logos available in Cydia. Have a look there; use the search term "boot logo". Or, if you go to the Sections tab, scroll down until you find the tab "Addons (BootLogo)." Again, there's a lot there - all you need to do is ensure they'll work on your iPad.

I don't change the logo, so I can't tell you which ones are good (or work). Hopefully, someone who has changed their's will chime in...

Keep the boot logo simple. A simple static logo would be fine. If you want something fancier like an animated boot logo, be prepared to have a slightly longer boot time since the device has to allocate a bit more resources in keeping the logo animated while booting up the iOS. You can also create your own as long as it's within a certain dimension
