App that protects business files

I'm wondering if anyone knows of an app that will do the following: the iPad is used as a company work device and people save work files to it via various ways (using Documents to Go, etc.). The company does not want work documents to be synched from the iPad to iTunes, the cloud or any other location so as to protect the contents, keep work data confidential etc. The ideal app would somehow prevent designated work files and content from being able to synch or leave the iPad. More, it could allow the user to easily see or identify the work files/content ion the iPad. anyone know of such an app? Many thanks.

I'm afraid that this is going to be impossible. The iPad's operating system, iOS, isolates ('sandboxes') apps so that they cannot directly interact with each other. Only limited interaction - strictly under the control of iOS - is allowed. This is to prevent any possibility of virus infection, since an iPad 'virus' would be unable to influence any other apps or files.

The downside of this is that it's not possible for one app to have access to or control another app's files or filespace or the conditions under which that app makes files available.
