App store?

I updated to IOS 5 and can no longer access the app store.
I have proper Apple ID and password. I get a message stating
" cannot connect to iTunes store"
Any thoughts?

You cannot get into iTunes on your iPad or computer? If its a iPad did you try a soft and/or hard reset?
