App store stuck on 'loading'

Hi everyone, very new to the ipad and this forum.
I purchased a new Ipad 32gb on Sunday, on Monday evening I downloaded an app from the store, all was good, went to go into the app store again and it has been sitting on 'loading' ever since. I turned the unit off completely and then turned it back on, but same issue. Any clues? Should I be returning it to the store or is there a fix for this?

Wait until you've got a good Wi-Fi connection at home (or elsewhere). Then open the App Store again, choose the Update section, and restart the download.

Some apps are quite large, so it may take a while. Apps over 20mb will not download over 3G.
