Ok received ipad 2 16gb 3g as a gift from work, was going to be purchasing an ipad 3.
The Ipad 2 wasn't bought from Apple or the UK - (Dubai) would Apple in the Uk take it off me for an exchange for the ipad 3?
The ipad has not been used but (kept in box unopened)what i did notice from a work colleague who turned his on, the ipad was full of apps?

Do you think they would exchange it, i was going to purchase a 32gb ipad 3 and willing to pay the difference?

    Anybody done similar?

    Cheers
    Kev

No harm in trying. Congratulations on your gift. There is, by the way, nothing wrong with having two iPads if Apple are not interested.
