Ipad air 128mb wifi+cellular ios 8.1 jailbroken.

Problem is that cant really figure out what is eating up all ram. I have 2-7mb free even after reboot. Ipad does work, but so dang slow/laggy to open anything as when start safari or any app ios needs to free memory to load the app.

Booted iphone4 and this ipad, typed www addy in safari and hit open same time on both. Ipad air took 10-22 secs more to open up the www page. I have 15mbit line so not that. Right now have 1mb ram free but still can hopefully post this question.

Loads are atm 1.89 1.82 1.75 and user cpu usage ~20% and I have only chrome open. So wonder if some misbehaving tweak doing this? I have tried massive amount of mem apps to narrow problem but nogo.

Would anybody have a clue? My warranty ends next week if hw prob.

Edit: Added running processes if gives better clue.

You would be able to take your device to the Apple Store, however it is jailbroken so you will not be able to get support.

Have you tried removing the jailbreak to see if it has the same problems while in stock condition? You'll have to do that anyway before taking it to the Apple Store.

I have had same prob with every ipad. Jailbroken or not. Cant really figure out what is eating the memory (ram).

Ios 6 didnt have this prblem. Ios 7/8 brought it up.

Can get bit more freed via shell commands, but still cant figure this out.

Best bet is to give us a list of all the JB tweaks you have installed. It is bound to be one (or more) of those...

Yes, you can download the free tweak/app called "AppInfo." It'll install with an icon on the springboard.

Open AppInfo and go to the second tab ("Packages"). It'll open with a listing of all the repos and tweaks you have on your iPad. What I do then is send a copy of this list to myself via e-mail. Makes for easier cutting and pasting.

To e-mail, while in the Packages tab, select the Action button at the top right. Then select "Simple List" from the pop-up. It'll open an e-mail draft so just fill in your e-mail address and press Send.

Once you have the list, you can copy it here.

You Sir, are a thief and a pirate. iPad Forums in no way supports using a jailbreak to steal paid content. Not only is piracy a violation of our rules, it is also illegal. You will receive no help here beyond our advice to remove everything piracy related from your iPad.

With that, this thread is now closed.
