Any practical reason to choose white or black bezel?

Are there any advantages to a black bezel when I go for the Air?

Apparently, a black bezel can make the screen appear to be bigger when watching full screen movies. That's about it.

I think so. When watching a movie, the white bezel will compete with the movie for your eye's attention. With the black bezel, it disappears into the background. The white bezel, on the other hand, does not tend to show fingerprint as does the black.

I always get black iPads and white phones.

I guess having the black bezel will make it hard to notice. When I was using a white bezel I always look at the white bezel.

If I were to buy a iPhone 5S I would want the slate color, or whatever it is called.
