Anti virus

Is there a need for an anti virus on iPad Air and if so can anyone recommend one ? Many thanks .

There are no known viruses that can infect an iPad. The sandboxed nature of how apps work would make it almost impossible for anything to cross into another app and infect it.
Most important there are no anti-virus apps in the App Store. This should tell you much about the need for anti-virus apps.
