In a recent research note to investors, Analyst Amit Daryanani of RBC believes that strong demand for the Apple Watch is a good signal for strong sales in the upcoming June quarter. He believes Apple will sell between 3 million and 5 million units after it has been reported that orders may have reached 1 million in the first 24 hours of availability.

Furthermore, Daryanani believes Apple will ship between 15 million and 20 million units before the end of 2015. According to him, the average selling price of the Apple Watch is going to be around $550. Here are some more details:

Apple has declined to discloses official sales numbers for the first weekend, which has prompted many analysts to jump in with their own estimates.
